Cable Terminators and Conduit Sealing Bushings

O-Z/Gedney cable terminators and conduit sealing bushings are used on conduit ends and cable ends to effectively seal the cable and conduit.

Should be installed:

Wherever the jacket or sheath is removed from multi-conductorcable
Wherever it is desirable to seal the ends of conduit and cables against the entrance of water, damp or corrosive atmospheres, hot or cold air or dust
Wherever it is desirable to seal the entrance of exposed cable into cabinets, switchboards or terminal boxes
Terminator type: recommended for sealing the ends of single- or multiple-conductor cables and for sealing the ends of conduit and cables

Type CRC: with compound chamber and top cover, for rubber or plastic insulated cables in threaded rigid conduit
Type CRN: with compound chamber and top thread, for rubber or plastic insulated cables in threaded rigid conduit
Type CRA: with compound chamber, for exposed wire armor cable
Type CRH: with compound chamber, mounted horizontally, for rubber or plastic insulated cables threaded rigid conduit
Type DTC: compound chamber with top and taping cones, for rubber or plastic insulated cables threaded rigid conduit, standard size
Type DRC: compound chamber with top and taping cones, for rubber or plastic insulated cables threaded rigid conduit, expanded size

Compound bushing type: for use with rubber or plastic insulated cables in protected locations where space is limited

Type FR: to seal ends of threaded rigid conduit
Type HRK: for threaded rigid conduit entering cabinet
Type HRE: for exposed cable entering cabinet
Type HPE: for exposed cable entering cabinet, with pOZi-grip® wedging plug to provide cable support

Sealing bushing type: similar to compound bushing type (above), but for use with rubber type insulation – neoprene gasket provides effective seal

Type KR: for ends of threaded rigid conduit
Type GRK: for ends of threaded rigid conduit entering cabinet
Type GRE: for exposed cable entering cabinet
Type GPE: for exposed cable entering cabinet, with pOZi-grip® wedging plug to provide cable support

Conduit sealing bushing type: used for sealing ends of conduit where cables emerge in applications involving higher fluid or gas pressures than can be handled by standard sealing bushings

Type CSB Series: for use with insulated wire, cable and rigid metal conduit; seals the ends of conduit in applications involving higher static gas or fluid pressures than can be handled by standard sealing bushings
Type CSM Series: for use with pipe, conduit or tubing; seals against fluid and gas pressure in applications similar to CSB Series
