Unmounted Cylindrical Roller Bearings

ROLLWAY® Radial bearings utilize crowned cylindrical rollers for more dynamic capacity and longer life than comparable ball bearings. Depending on the load/speed requirements of the application, these bearings feature:

• through hardened bearing quality steel raceways
• a variety of retainer (cage) options

Rollway radial bearings offer a variety of internal clearances including a standard C3 internal clearance for most applications.

Rollway® cylindrical thrust bearings utilize crowned cylindrical rolling elements. These are separated by a machined brass roller riding retainer (cage) which are contained within precision ground shaft and housing plates. These bearings are intended for axial loads (load parallel to the axis of rotation). They are designed as medium or heavy duty series.

Cylindrical Roller Bearings are designed to allow heavy radial loads at high speeds. They consist of cylindrical shaped rollers guided by ribs on either the outer or inner ring.
The unmounted bearing assembly consist of thorough hardened housing and shaft plate (raceways). The assembly also consists of cylindrical rolling elements separated by a centrifugally cast brass retainer (cage).
Rollway Tandem Thrust Bearings were originally designed and patented by Rollway Beearing Corp in 1945, patent #2374820. Tandem (or Multistage) bearings designs allow for a high thrust capacity in a small envelope size.
