The Jaure gear coupling offers maximum torque capacity due to the larger pitch diameter of the gears while keeping the well known reliability and safety factors of JAURE® couplings.
Safety Requirements: Safety devices for Peak Torque protection besides friendly assembly and low maintenance are becoming a must on test benches in the last years.
Safety couplings available in Jaure's program: Shear Pin type MTB and MTBR gear couplings, JFTL torque limiter and Safeset® (trademark from Voith Turbo) in combination with Jaure flexible couplings: MT gear coupling (grease lubricated), Lamidisc disc coupling or Ixilflex elastic (maintenance free).

The Jaure MT range accomplishes the AGMA standard, which means that the MT coupling sleeves and drilled holes will fit any AGMA coupling halves, ensuring the interchangeability by coupling halves.
The Jaure IXILFLEX® flexible coupling was first introduced in wind turbines. It has been making inroads for 10 years on other industries such as marine propulsion, industry, railway and other specific applications like test benches.
The discs of the LAMIDISC® couplings are made of high-grade stainless steel (AISI-301), ensuring not only a high strength and high endurance to fatigue, but also the resistance to most environmental conditions.
