For use in Canada, Appleton® IDSR interlocked switched receptacles are designed to prevent electrical arcing when portable or mobile electrical equipment is used in indoor or outdoor non-hazardous locations.

Available in 30, 60 and 100 Amp fused and non-fused designs, these compact metallic receptacles feature an On/Off switch and an enclosed mechanical interlock. Plugs cannot be inserted or removed unless the power switch is in the Off position. The switch can be locked in Off position, and an optional lockable cover latch can be added for extra safety.
