Hazardous Location Switches

Our conveyor switches for hazardous locations provide for normal and emergency shutoff, automatic shutoff for conveyors that are misaligned or off track, and automatic correction of incorrect conveyor speed. All conveyor switches include signaling capabilities for interface to an alarm or computer system, and all provide flexible options to adapt to the needs of almost any material handling application, including motor driven conveyors, cranes, unloaders, bulk handling systems and other machinery.

Appleton Group offers inertia switches for shutting off oil well pumps when a sucker rod breaks, and vibration switches for shutting down rotating machinery exhibiting excessive vibration. Included in our product offering are a variety of ATEX/IEC Certified switches, circuit breakers and panels with explosionproof, increased safety and flameproof ratings for use in Zone 1 and 2 locations.
