Linear Vibration Welders

Linear vibration welding uses transverse, reciprocating motion; the vibration occurs in only one axis. The vibration motion occurs equally in both the x and y axes and all axes in between.

The vibration welding process eliminates the need for solvents, adhesives, mechanical fasteners, and other consumables. Additional advantages and benefits of the vibration welding process include:

  • Fast, clean, energy efficient
  • Suitable for large parts (up to 20" x 60") and irregularly-shaped parts
  • No need for elaborate ventilation systems to remove fumes or heat
  • High productivity with lower cost than many alternate assembly methods
  • Ease of interface with automated assembly line production
  • Can weld multiple smaller parts at one time

Branson nurtures OEM partnerships, working with customers to retrofit existing equipment or execute new designs. It is this partnership that makes Branson's line of OEM components unique.

HyLine series of welders employ the company's long proven electromechanical vibrator and a new digital drive controller to provide better control of the weld process along with many other new features not available on current equipment.
The M Series includes high-power linear vibration welders, employing the company's new two phase digital drive. This drive technology enables higher power to be delivered to the parts to be welded.
The Mini II vibration welder has the smallest footprint in the industry (2' x 4'), yet offers all of the advantages of the vibration welding process with enhanced performance, ease of operation and added serviceability features.
Branson produces large part vibration welders in many configurations. Single and double vibrator head machines are produced to customer specifications to meet their unique needs.
Our Applications Group can assist you with all of your Non-Ultrasonics fixturing/tooling needs. We can provide turnkey tooling assemblies for all joining processes as well as provide recommendations on part joint design for optimum weld-ability.
Branson offers a multitude of accessories for our Linear Vibration welding systems; including software for statistical process control and process validation.
