Appleton® WSR and WSRD metallic interlocked receptacles are designed to prevent electrical arcing when fixed or portable heavy duty equipment is used in hose down areas, damp or corrosive locations and other adverse environments.

Available in 30, 60 and 100 Amp designs, these interlocked metallic receptacles feature either a fused or non-fused disconnect and mechanical interlock that prevents plug removal under load. With a plug engaged and the switch in the On position, the plug cannot be removed. With the switch turned Off and the plug removed, the receptacle cannot be energized. The switch can be locked in both the On and Off positions, and the cover can be padlocked closed for added safety.

Additional safety features include viewing windows and special polarization to prevent insertion of a plug into a receptacle wired for a different voltage.
